AAGC Conference
Alabama’s annual conference, held during the Fall each year, brings together gifted/talented teachers and coordinators, classroom teachers, school administrators, parents, pre-service teachers, and college/university faculty to explore current issues in gifted education. Our conference brings nationally known leaders in the field of gifted education as well as faculty from Alabama’s college/university gifted programs, and Alabama’s gifted education teachers together to provide three days of professional development.  Sessions include keynote speeches, one hour sessions on a variety of practical strategies for teachers and parents, and hands-on half-day workshops. Vendors offer a variety of materials and information for gifted educators and parents.

The annual conference schedule and venue for the next few years is listed below. Please make your plans to attend this year. You’ll leave with a headful of ideas and strategies to help you meet the needs of your gifted learners!
